Pakistan Brigadier courage to receive Shahid Arun Khetrapal father Brigadier Khetrapal is worth appreciating. I feel Pakistani Brigadier should be called as true solider

"Arun Khetarpal was a a product of the reputable Lawrence School Sanawar. 2nd Lt Khetrapal fell in the Battle of Basantar during the Bangladesh war where his actions earned him his honour.

2nd Lt Khetrapal joined the 17 Poona Horse of the Indian Army on 13 June 1971. He died a martyr after a valiant fight"

We need to shorten up the intro so it is not redundant and remove a lot of these grandious words. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.170.163.8 (talk) 16:22, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why so much melodrama on this page, under the 'tribute and facts' section, especially #9 & 10? As I've said before, this is an encyclopedia, not an emotional epitaph. I see this problem on nearly all India related articles - tons of unnecessary and unverified information that simply does not follow the standard guidelines for other articles of the same type. Compare this with any other article about posthumously honoured soldiers. Wraithful (talk) 06:22, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Bias / Unreliability edit

The article mentions “advanced through to the enemy” instead of Pakistan army which is a blatant bias. Obviously the writer is Indian and he is making the story dramatic and full of Bollywood feel, but who is to decide for the reader that Pakistan was the villain and an enemy ? This needs to be unbiased and more reliable, otherwise it is forcing third party to believe that Pakistan was the bad guy. Is it surprising that a movie is coming out soon and perhaps the media machine is trying to fix the story so their movie seems authentic ? 2607:9880:1908:38:F025:6138:6887:715A (talk) 12:50, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
