While there is no doubt this artist is notable and the article should be here, I have the feeling that it was pieced together from foreign-language sources, old photocopied articles and the artist's own manifesto(s). It seems that the main things to do are to:

provide sources other than Barrio's own text for the many many claims that are made about his practice,
find sources for his actual nationality, as many are listed in the article...
reduce the hype-laden text on the significance of his work into something more encyclopedic, and
provide some easy to understand text on what he is really famous for: using disgusting things like blood and the like as art materials, and what this meant as a challenge to more formal art practices.
