Spelling: Leon or Léon edit

The title uses Leon, but in the text it's Léon. Google is no help; plenty of hits for both versions. Do we know for sure how he spelt his own name? -- JackofOz (talk) 21:40, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sweeping statements edit

"The Pas de Six is the only known choreography of Saint-Léon's to have survived." - Surely this is incorrect. What about Coppelia or The Little Humpbacked Horse? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.194.98.140 (talk) 18:58, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Arthur Saint-LeonArthur Saint-Léon — There are numerous ghits for both the Leon and the Léon spelling. Léon is what would naturally be expected in French orthography, and it is how the subject's name is spelt in the title and text of the French article. It is also how this English article spells it throughout the text - but not in the title. That in itself is unacceptably inconsistent. There is a redirect from Arthur Saint-Léon, but this is inadequate, particularly as the text uses this spelling in any case. Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 20:28, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
