Burial at Brookwood? edit

This page stated he (died 1915) was buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery, which was not created until 1917 out of part of the existing Brookwood (civilian) Cemetery. I have corrected the cemetery name to plain Brookwood Cemetery (in which servicemen who died in London were already being buried) and raised a citation need about the burial, as the CWGC does not appear to recognise the grave.Cloptonson (talk) 21:24, 13 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I also notice that a picture of the Brookwood Memorial is used as illustration with caption mentioning he is listed on Panel 3. In fact the one illustrated was for Commonwealth dead of World War II. Those of World War I soldiers like himself who died in the UK but have no known grave are commemorated by the Brookwood United Kingdom (1914-1918) Memorial. I would have removed the illustration as incorrect had a picture of the latter memorial been at hand to compare.Cloptonson (talk) 22:01, 27 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
