I am trying to find out what exactly arthralgia is, what causes it and what the treatments would be for it.
- In plain language, arthralgia is "my joints hurt", the causes are legion, and the treatments are either "make it quit hurting temporarily" (for example, by taking painkillers) or "fix the underlying cause". WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:18, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Can someone make sure that Polyarthragia(s) point to this page, it's the same thing just multiple joints affected (hence the poly).
- I will remove the medication list and substantially shorten the associated conditions list in a few days, if there are no objections.
- Rationale: Having a comprehensive list of associated disease and medications does little towards answering the question "What is arthralgia?", in terms that are based on a solid body of knowledge. What it does is consumes space with trivia. -- Jason C Daniels 01:48, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Joint Hypermobility edit
Joint hypermobility is a known, mechanical cause of joint pain. "Hypermobility syndrome is generally considered to comprise hypermobility together with other symptoms, such as myalgia and arthralgia." 24.202.187.233 (talk) 09:11, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
