Release date edit

I believe the release date is wrong as it has already been the 19th of jan 2007 and the 6th book is not released.

Are you serious? You can't read the whole sentence? DarthJango42 01:55, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

opps sorry, don't you hate it when you read something and think its something else but then you reread it it not what you read before? WSITY 01:57, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The book now has an official release date - July 15, 2008. (Amazon.com) [moved from section named "release date" by Bane II, unknown author]

I disagree that the UK release date is the 7th of August, since my brother and I both own copies of the book which we purchased at WHSmith earlier today (Friday, August 1st 2008). Bane II (talk) 22:03, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

o_O Awesome, now release date troubles. I'm going to leave it at August 7 as the official date unless someone finds something that says differently. Odd. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:09, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

[1] - obviously out in UK already. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 23:04, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I count that as a reliable source, so go ahead and change it. That was surprising. IceUnshattered (talk) 23:10, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Err... actually, WHSmith.co.uk lists publish date as 07/08/2008, which, UK-style, would refer to August 8th, 2008. Also, Puffin Books itself lists publish date as August 7, 2008. [2] - going to change back to August 7. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 05:51, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
-shrug- Fine with me. IceUnshattered [ t ] 14:08, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It says it came out first in America. How can that be right if it's a UK book? -Toajoe —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.35.213 (talk) 18:55, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

You can ask the publisher. As the header says: "This is not a forum for general discussion about the article's subject.". Calvin 1998 (t-c) 22:49, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm not discussing that. I'm saying that how could It have been released in the US first, when it's a UK book? No, let me guess: American's are more important, and as usual they get everything first and are the best. No questions asked. As if. -Toajoe —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.226.241 (talk) 19:15, 6 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's really getting on with WP:CIVIL. We are just little students trying to improve Wikipedia, and we know nothing, I repeat, nothing, about why the book was released first in the USA. We can't help you. You are welcome to contact the publisher, but we're trying to work on the article, not answer questions that are beyond the limits of our knowledge. And I repeat my message: talk pages of Wikipedia articles exist solely to bring up issues with the article and coordinate construction or improvement of the article. They are not forums to discuss strange things about the books (there are plenty of forums out there to do it on), or to debate whether the book makes sense, or anything of that sort. This is Wikipedia, discussion is limited to such. Calvin 1998 (t·c) 19:35, 6 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

If I may add, it does say on the Official Artemis Fowl websitethat the release date is 7 August, and it is the Official Website. Isn't it? Ladywitchthought (talk) 07:09, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exactly why we've set it to August 7th. Calvin 1998 (t·c) 05:08, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's what it was set to, and what it is on the website, apparently... but... I had it sometime in mid-July.--EshInoBi (talk) 08:21, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The UK version? (the US version came out mid-July...) Calvin 1998 (t·c) 08:25, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Time Paradox redirect edit

The Time Paradox redirects here, but there's a book which bears the same name by Philip Zimbardo, which should really have the link when it's been written :) Just thought we should bear it in mind... Malick78 (talk) 13:21, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
