I have just come across the COI guidelines for Wikipedia and wanted to declare a possible perceived conflict. Had I seen this before (and I take full responsibility for not investigating further) I'd have just posted the info contained within in this article in the requested articles section, but the law of unintended consequences seems to mean what's done is done. I work part-time for Artangel as web editor. However, I do feel I have adhered to all of Wikipedia's editorial guidelines and hope I have achieved a level-headed piece with no puff or promo. I would appreciate any feedback and will refrain from editing the page in future. Sebemina (talk) 17:05, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry if my two sentences seemed arbitrary and insignificant, but I was planning to expand this stub at a later point. Artangel has been referred to in several other Wikipedia articles but they lead nowhere, so it seemed like an article was overdue. It is one of the major arts-producing organisations operating in the UK. Sebemina (talk) 18:02, 3 March 2010 (UTC)sebeminaReply

Funding

edit

I came to this article via a link in another article (on the composer Gavin Bryars). While it is useful, as far as it goes, it is mysteriously silent on one central issue: how Artangel is funded. There is some information on this in the Daily Telegraph article in the external links, from which it appears that there is a mixture of corporate sponsorship, individual 'angel' patronage, and public funding. But that article may be out-of-date. As an art-consumer, I am glad Artangel exists, but as a taxpayer, I would like to know how much I am paying for it.109.158.46.221 (talk) 13:37, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
