Vandalizam detected, example with Eagle, Iveco LMV, T-72M4CZ and other equipment, stated numbers are simply ridiculous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.25.185.232 (talk) 02:51, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Czech RM70 01.jpg edit

Image:Czech RM70 01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Factual errors and outdated info edit

Detailed info about the Czech Air Force is outdated and contains factual errors. Could it just link to the specific article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Balooo(cz) (talkcontribs) 10:00, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unclear edit

Quoting the article: "the Czech Republic is completing a major overhaul of the extensive Czechoslovak Armed Forces"

Is the Czech Republic overhauling both the Czech "portion" and the Slovak "portion" of the former Czechoslovak Armed Forces?

Or were the two portions separated when the Czech Republic and Slovakia became separate countries? If the latter is true, then maybe the Czech Republic is only "overhauling" the Czech portion.

Just wondering. Thanks, Wanderer57 (talk) 20:32, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The whole article is a mess as a result of converting the "Czechoslovak Army" one into this one. The CS section (1918-1992) should be split into a history article (with CSLA as its subsection) and this article should focus on CZ Army from 1993 onwards same as the Slovak articles do. For thos wondering about original question: Yes, the CS Military was split 2:1 in 1993 (based on population of 10:5 mil betweekn CZ and SK) with the exception of several units - Mig-29 figters were split 9:9 and more rare systems were split by some systems remaining only in CZ and some only in SK. Like S200 air defense in CZ and then-new S300-PMU in SK. 46.135.41.8 (talk) 22:28, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Czech Ground Forces edit

I have begun to split out the info and details of the Czech Ground Forces into its own article. As I can't do it all on my own, other editors are welcome to help. noclador (talk) 21:57, 24 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Czechoslovak People's Army Structure in 1989 edit

I expanded the English en:Czechoslovak People's Army article with all the info about the en:Czechoslovak army, air defence and air force in 1989 that I could find. I am sure the info is correct and nearly complete, however I still need more info on Electronic Warfare, Pontoon, and Long Distance Signal Communication regiments. Also I might have missed some units. Therefore if anyone has information or corrections, please feel free to either add it directly to the article or leave it on my talk page.
