The Jingle
I would suggest that someone add the lyrics in a section of the article. Here they are: (couresey of my dad)
"Hot dogs- Armour hot dogs- What kind of kids eat Armour hot dogs?
Fat kids Skinny kids Kids who climb on rocks
Tough kids Sissy kids Even kids with chicken pox
oh hot dogs- Armour hot dogs- The dogs kids love to bite!"
OR Section Tag
"Armour operated in an environment without labor unions, health inspections or government regulation. Accidents were commonplace. Armour was also notorious for the low pay it offered its line workers, and it actively fought unionization, banning known union activists and ruthlessly breaking strikes in 1904 and 1921 by employing African Americans and desperate immigrants as strikebreakers. It was not fully unionized until the late 1930s when interracial unions became more commonplace."
First sentence appears to presuppose a bias, and the rest of it isn't cited. - MSTCrow 23:11, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- I just dropped by this article and did a search. You can find supporting evidence for everything except the first sentence here: East St. Louis, Illinois: "Hog Capital of the Nation". It might need rewording and I have to log now. Hopefully I can log on later and work on shaping it up a bit. If someone else gets to it first then all the better. Mucho Meats
I thought I'd leave a note here, since I changed the first paragraph. Frankly, this article is the only place on the Internet where I can find a mention of the company named "Mucho Meats". Furthermore, giving the first name of the owner of this company seems rather silly, since with no last name it's effectively meaningless. All in all, the entire mention messed up the grammatical correctness of the article, so I chopped it out. If anyone can find any information on this Mucho Meats company, along with a source that tells when it was made, please add it back in to the article, but in a way that doesn't break the flow of its writing like the mention I chopped out did. --76.27.119.233 (talk) 01:09, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

found this image. the chef was considered one of 2 of Americas most trusted advertising characters, along with Aunt Jemima, according to this source. I dont want to drop it into the article without some additional info, otherwise it would show a POV against the company.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 18:18, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
