Incorrect Vocalist Cited?

The only evidence that Keith Moon vocalized this song is a Who fansite. The album itself does not credit Keith Moon with vocals at all, not even backing vocals. This does sound like Roger Daltrey, so should probably be researched further before it is credited to Keith Moon.Robojam 21:15, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Meaning ?

Does this song have any particular meaning ? Is it about the landing place of Noah's ark, or the so-called massacre of 1915, or earthquakes, or Indiana Jones, or Gary Kasparov, or anything to do with Armenia at all ? Eregli bob (talk) 16:10, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

From the documentary "Classic Albums: The Who Sell Out" (Mercury Studios, 2021), according to Townshend (at c. 7m), Keen told him years later that the lyrics had been misinterpreted or misheard and should be "I'm an ear sitting in the sky", not "Armenia, city in the sky". I'm not sure if Townshend is being genuine though. You can find other comments about "I'm an ear" online.
