This article seems to contradict itself a couple of times. "Canis armbrusteri is the oldest member of lupus" followed by "larger and heavier than its older and longer living cousin, Canis lupus." "Canis armbrusteri did give rise to C. dirus (Dire Wolf)" followed by "Armbruster's Wolf is considered a sister species of the Dire Wolf" Also, how could C. ambrusteri be a member of a different species, C. lupus? New genus? edit

Should this species also be moved into a new genus, since it is now thought that this species could also belong to the ancient dire wolf lineage? 2001:1970:48AA:8100:40F5:7D8B:DCFF:3F8 (talk) 04:26, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Did the researchers actually rename this wolf with the new genus name? If not, then no. William Harris (talk) 05:07, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've made some edits to the page, they appear on the browser but not on the App, anybody knows why? 79.25.31.4 (talk) 09:28, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
