Awesome job on this article, Brandonrush! Seancp (talk) 04:39, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you much Seancp, it definitely took its time, but baseball is (at least I think) a very important part of not only Arkansas athletics, but our countries' culture, and it should have as high quality of page as I can make. Brandonrush Woo pig sooie 21:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edit Request - Arkansas was not SWC Champions in 1950

edit

According to the Arkansas Razorbacks' media guide the Razorbacks dropped out of the SWC in 1927, even discontinuing baseball all together from 1930-1946, and didn't rejoin the conference until the 1974 season. Thus, they could not have been conference champions in 1950. In fact, Texas is listed as the official SWC Champion that year. This needs to be amended, please. Thank you.--BZA99 (talk) 21:55, 24 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Wiki page has been updated with the correct information. Also, the sidebar information was updated to reflect the fact that Arkansas was SWC Champions in 1989 and 1990, the latter of which it shared with Texas A&M. The only other time the Razorbacks were "champions" in the SWC was when they won the conference tournament in 1985 - a separate title from overall conference champion, which is decided by regular season performance, and given to the team with the best overall win/loss percentage at season's end.BZA99 (talk) 18:19, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
