merge Events held at the Arena Zagreb

I see that the "Held Events" section of this article was spun off into its own article, but I can't really see the reason for it. —Tim Pierce (talk) 18:58, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

I thought it would be better to put it in the separate page. Because the size of it is drastically increases. I can put it back but than it's not well viewed. What you think about it?(VelikiMeshtar) 17:58, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Both Events held at the Arena Zagreb and the current "Scheduled events" section are best deleted, as they are not encyclopedic (see WP:NOTDIR). Major events may be listed in the main article though. A quote from the said page:

For example, an article on a radio station should not list upcoming events, current promotions, current schedules, et cetera, although mention of major events, promotions or historically significant programme lists and schedules may be acceptable.

I could imagine a similar list for every single multipurpose venue in the world, but this doesn't make sense - e.g. Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall hosts 450 events a year - should such lists all become Wikipedia articles? GregorB (talk) 15:51, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

I agree. We don't need an exhaustive list of every single thing that was ever held at the Arena. This list should be greatly reduced in size and merged into parent article. For example, we don't really need 12 separate items for 2009 World Men's Handball Championship, four items for 2012 UEFA Futsal Championship, we don't really need to mention any specific hockey, basketball or handball games, etc. Timbouctou (talk) 13:18, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
