Cut and Paste edit

So far, this article is just a cut and paste of the section from the Russian architecture. Not a reason for VfD, of course, but I thought the readers have to know that. --Irpen 21:49, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

AndriyK, you've 'liberated' this section from the article at Russian architecture. Now will you write something to justify a main article link from there? Michael Z. 2005-11-7 16:07 Z

I see no violation either of policies or of ethics in copy-pasting sections into separate articles. However, the only way to make whoever does it look good is to have new articles better than the place they are taken from. As an example, may I suggest Urban myths related to Catherine II of Russia that I spun off from Catherine the Great main article since her sex with the horse and other BS, while the myths are encyclopedic, starting to compete in amount of space with her legacy. After I spun it off, I expanded the article somewhat. Same was done by Mikka when he spun off the St Volodymyr's Cathedral ownership controversy from St Volodymyr's Cathedral. Let's see whether the fervent imrpover of Ukraine's coverage in WP will start writing things up, maybe for this topic. --Irpen 16:33, 7 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Sobory.ru edit

Perhaps we could get in contact with the people there and ask them for image permission. (I currentely am overloaded so maybe one of you can do this instead). BTW what do people make of that site? --Kuban kazak 00:18, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

References needed edit

Are there any English-language references for this page? Or is everything from one website? --Elonka 23:01, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
