  • Halfway through filming, the band heard a noise inside the camera, which damaged its battery. Re: GA edit

Hello. I've adjusted according to the majority of your suggestions. Some thoughts:

  • No real reason to delete the sentence "The two wrote the track as a critique of the standard societal expectation that one is to marry upon entering adulthood." It hints at further explanation later in the article and is something I find worthy of making the lead.
It was remove because I added it to the first paragraph, it made more sense. Not delete altogether. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:26, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Re: Royal Mountain Records – distribution of the track was split between various indie labels in several countries. In the lead, I think it's important to state first and foremost the band's label in their native Canada
I re-wrote it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:26, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • I chose not to clutter the infobox with the dozens of genres critics applied to the music. Indie pop/dream pop appeared most universal and commonly used. Still, if this is something you're interested in amending, I can do so
Maybe a note below indicating other genres on the text. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:35, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • The image mentioning 2015 is in reference to the year the photo was taken -- suppose this could be more clear
Made it more clear. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:37, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Done

  • The source calling it the quartet's "breakthrough hit" is phrased as "breakout track"

Thank. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:41, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!

Regarding the last issue what I said about Rolling Stone was that ""Just two kids without any direction, doing it on a whim in a courthouse, saying 'Who cares?' to everyone else who has all of their ducks in a row before settling down. It was the most romantic thing I could think of at the time" and "surrounded by six feet of snow," she says. "We had a snowmobile to get to the road, but we ended up burying the snowmobile. I guess we were inspired by it being so bleak." need to be pharaphrased as Earwig's tool strikes them as copyright violation. See here 1. Show me the page of such request. @Saginaw-hitchhiker: As of right now, we just need to get to an agreement point on the genres. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:34, 1 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Saginaw-hitchhiker: Are you still up for this?
@Yoninah: I have seen you seem quite interested in the article, I was wondering if you could help with the issue that still puts this GA on hold? It is regarding the genres, you can see above the nominator didn't want to clutter the infobox with 7 diferent genres, and I was trying to come up with the solution, but in the meantime he didn't came back to the article. Many thanks, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:13, 16 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • @MarioSoulTruthFan: actually, I was just editing the article to prepare for its main page appearance at WP:DYK. I am not interested in the subject and also found that the nominators did not respond promptly to requests at DYK. Yoninah (talk) 22:17, 16 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Something like that? (NOTE: I'm not involved in either the nomination or the reviewing process). --Urbanoc (talk) 20:10, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Urbanoc:Thank you for the quick response. I made a small change, what do you think? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 20:42, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion, looks better with your change. --Urbanoc (talk) 20:46, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Guys, sorry about the delay. I think the aforementioned change looks fine; I just thought "indie pop" seemed the most accurate. I've edited it to what I think seems the most reasonable. Thanks. Saginaw-hitchhiker (talk) 03:02, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Saginaw-hitchhiker: I added indie rock according to the Consequence of Sound tag. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:39, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
