This article is baseless!!! Historians called Yemen "Happy Arabia" not the eastern part or Riyadh.

Meaning of "Felix"

The lede states that Arabia Felix literally means "Happy Arabia", but the next section says that "Happy Arabia" is a mistranslation. Which of the various meanings given (happy/fortunate/fertile/etc) is correct? Iapetus (talk) 12:38, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Given the description of the area as having more rainfall and capable of supporting agriculture to a much greater extent than the other regions of Arabia, I would propose "fertile" to be a more appropriate translation. Regarding Merge Proposal

I propose:

1. "Eudaemon" should be moved to "Eudaemon Arabia".

and/or
