Arabella Kennedy edit

  • Comment - just noticed that the article on her brother, went through an unsuccessful afd as he was notable enough - he was the son of the president; he suffered from a disease of which people became more aware and so on. None of these reasons apply to Arabella as she was born in 1956, before Kennedy became president. --Gurubrahma 06:27, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
  • Redirect per Howcheng. Not independently notable. Agree with Gurubrahma. Barno 19:24, 24 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
  • Keep. Sahasrahla 03:50, 28 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
  • Redirect per above, yet keep Patrick.

Deleted again edit

After expanding it, it was again deleted Why? 15:29, 10 February 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by K157 (talkcontribs).

The article was deleted because the AfD, above, decided that she was non-notable (see WP:BIO). Expanding the article in no way changes notability. You cannot reverse an AfD decision (see Wikipedia:Guide to deletion) simply by expanding an article.
If you really want to argue that that Arabella Kennedy does in fact meet WP:BIO criteria, the place to so is at Wikipedia:Deletion review. But I strongly recommend that you do not propose re-creating this article without having thoroughly read and understood what notability means and how the policy applies here. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 03:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have again reverted the main page to a redirect, and I repeat: Wikipedia policy is that something that is deleted in an AfD should not be created again unless it is significantly different (and enhanced) from what was deleted; and it still should go through Wikipedia:Deletion review. I ask that editors NOT re-create this article without discussing it here FIRST. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 17:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
