I thought Aquent was previously Remedy. Was Remedy a corporate sibling of MacTemps, or (among other possibilities) is my memory corrupted?
By the way, even if a New York Times reporter swallowed it, Aquent certainly is not Latin for ‘not a follower’. Apparently some genius combined the Greek negative prefix a– with a syllable arbitrarily amputated from Latin sequent ‘following’. —Tamfang (talk) 00:14, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
