Fats vs Lipids edit
This article needs clean-up to distinguish fats from lipids. I'll get to it myself soon if no one else does. Dcs002 (talk) 23:45, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I took care of that issue in the intro section. I also deleted references to fat and dietary fat from the intro. Fat (triglyceride) transport should be covered somewhere in this article to some extent, but not in the intro.
APO vs Apo formatting edit
This article and related ones (e.g. ApoB, APOE) typically use "Apo" in their introductions but switch to all-caps APO for both gene and protein for the rest of the article. As a unified encyclopedia, I'd like if we could standardize this. I think it would be helpful for novice readers to learn how gene nomenclature should work. (On a related note, many articles neglect to italicize gene names.) Thoughts? Am I making a mountain out of a molehill? Aeffenberger (talk) 19:59, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Writing evaluation for class edit
This page didn't cover the topic comprehensively. It didn't mention the information of some classes like apoF and apoM. To improve this page, I think to put more information includes the function of more apolipoprotein classes into function section will be better since it only had few classes mentioned in this section. Moreover, adding a new section about the disease and dysfunction of apolipoprotein will be a good idea I think.
