Talk:Anton Rubinstein Competition

Sofronitsky and Yudian received the Rubinstein Prize of the Petrograd Conservatoire, both having graduated there. That has nothing to do with the Rubinstein Competition, I think.

Competition edit

Is there connection with this competition: http://www.arims.org.il/competition2011/pages/english/index.php —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.69.229.85 (talk) 11:16, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

"The original Anton Rubinstein Competition was staged by Anton Rubinstein himself every five years from 1890 to 1910.[1]" It could not have been staged by Rubinstein himself up to 1910, because he died in 1894. He was only alive for the first competition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.34.178.136 (talk) 08:47, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
