Please cite material edit

@Эльбрус Казбекович: you keep adding material without citations. Please note that everything in the encyclopedia must be verifiable, which means traceable back to a reliable source. All of the references you've added to this article are just pointers to index entries in a 1903 edition of Encyclopedia Britanica. That's not a sufficient citation. Please see WP:Inline citation for more information on how to properly cite material. Thanks. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:32, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why are saying not Truth about my article. It's not just Encyclopedia Britannica, it's also articles of Palgrave, Sharma and Maruashvili.Эльбрус Казбекович (talk) 12:12, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

You're missing the point. You need to provide in-line references to allow people to verify statements. Verifiability is one of the prime requirements for writing an encyclopedia article. For example, you say, Many different nationalities and ethnic groups live there, and then give examples such as, Turkic people represented by Oghuz family(Anadolu, Azeri dialects. Let's say I wanted to verify that was correct. How would I do it? You don't give any specific reference for it. Am I supposed to read through everything that you mentioned in the bibliography to find it? Or, to give you another example, let's say I added to the article, the sentence, People who live in the region speak French. If you doubted the correctness of that, how would you verify whether it was true or not if I didn't tell you where I had gotten that information from? -- RoySmith (talk) 13:34, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

What you doing sir(madam), is extreme measures to destroy my article by any means. Here on Wikipedia millions of articles goes like this and you are silent about that, but I see my article didn't let you sleep. It is seriously look like harassment toward me and my article directly from you sir.Эльбрус Казбекович (talk) 17:46, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

And as soon as you want to talk about Turkic people in this article, you should first read the bibliography of William Gifford Palgrave "The Turkomans and other Tribes of the North-East Turkish frontier" // Cornhill Magazine. —London, England: Smith, Elder & Co, 1868. — Vol. 18, no. 107. — P. 539—550

and this :

William Gifford Palgrave A Tour in North-East Anatolia // Cornhill Magazine. —London, England: Smith, Elder & Co, 1872. — Vol. 25, no. 150. — P. 662—673.

before you try to criticized here.Эльбрус Казбекович (talk) 18:55, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • It's not your article. It's the encyclopedia's article. Please see WP:OWN.
What you should do is go through the article sentence by sentence, figure out which reference supports the statements in that sentence, and cite that reference. Maybe not strictly sentence-by-sentence, but in sufficient detail that any reader can easily see which sources support which statements and independently verify them against the sources.
Another concern is that most of these sources are quite old. That's great for a historical perspective, but you're using those sources to support statements about the current time. In the example we're talking about, Many different nationalities and ethnic groups live there, that's a statement about who lives there now. A source published 150 years ago cannot possibly be where that information comes from. I'm not trying to be difficult here, or harass you in any way. But, as I've said before, verifiability is a cornerstone of everything we do here. It's got to be taken seriously and done correctly. -- RoySmith (talk) 20:26, 4 June 2018 (UTC)−Reply

″The Anticaucasus mountain system does not have a single continuous mountain range, like the mountains of the Caucasus, and consists of four main parts: 1) Aran-kuh (mountains of Talysh and Karadag) which runs from Caspian sea to the Araxes river in Iran and Azerbaijan; 2)Lesser Caucasus, mountains located from Meghri (the border of Armenia with Iran) to the plateau of Ashotsk,Javakhetia and Somkhetia(the border of Armenia with Georgia),most of which in Antiquity and Medieval was called Siunia Caucasiana(Geography of Ravenna, V-th century,Western Roman empire); 3)Adjara-Trialeti basin ranges, (also called Moskhis mountains),in south-western Georgia, passing from Javahetia to the border of Adjaria with Turkey;4) the mountains of Lazistan and Pontica in Turkey, also called the Tchorokh mountains″ 107.242.117.3 (talk) 05:26, 10 October 2018 (UTC) What you doing sir(madam), is extreme measures to destroy my article by any means, I see my article didn't let you sleep.
