This makes videos that appeared on late night tv shows, ranked number 2 of all time in YouTube, in American newspapers, an estimated 14 million views of one video alone... you get the idea JayKeaton 19:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'll try and work their bios and personal notables in the Smosh page and then if it warrents it the bios can be moved to their respective pages. JayKeaton 21:53, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anthony Padilla. Please either update Smosh or request Deletion Review. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:07, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reviewer Note (again) edit

An article on this individual was deleted in December 2018 after an AFD. This draft was then submitted one month after the AFD, and I declined it, saying to update Smosh or request Deletion Review. This draft was then deleted for inactivity, and has been undeleted. Four years have elapsed since the AFD, and we should be willing to consider whether Padilla is now individually notable. I am neither accepting nor declining this draft at this time, but am asking the submitter to explain, either here, or in AFC comments, or at Talk:Smosh, why Anthony Padilla is now individually notable. Padilla in the years following his departure from Smosh has established himself as an individual figure. He has received coverage in multiple sources about his endeavors separate from Smosh, more specifically about the content he creates on his personal YouTube channel. Due to this, I believe that he is individually notable. ULPS (talk) 21:49, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
I took a look at the draft along with searching for sources online, and I also believe there's enough sources to prove his notability outside of Smosh. For starters, two of the draft's sources are articles solely about him from The Washington Post and Insider (culture) - both of which are reliable per WP:RSPSS. While they include quotes directly from him, they're interspersed with secondary commentary about his history before and after Smosh along with his content. There's also an article from Bleeding Cool about him which also states info about him, and the author's own analysis and opinion of his content. The site's considered reliable per WP:VG/RS. I also found this news article which extensively discusses his background alongside former Smosh partner Ian Hecox. Finally, multiple news sources also discussed his departure from Smosh as well. If these sources are added and the draft is rewritten to include info from these sources, I feel he should meet WP:GNG as an individual and the draft should be accepted. Accepted edit

The quality sources from WaPo, Insider, Variety, and Vulture, plus the other sourcing, is acceptable for me. I tagged Anthony Padilla for CSD, but that took too long so I've parked it at D. Anthony Padilla for now. A page mover can round-robin it. SWinxy (talk) 03:07, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Can we add the smosh channel edit

It counts as the his main channel. 2607:FEA8:C80:41F0:F4E4:43DE:6591:E915 (talk) 00:01, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@2607:FEA8:C80:41F0:F4E4:43DE:6591:E915 Smosh has their own article, so the majority of info about them should be on their article. This article is for Padilla and his personal channel. Strugglehouse (talk) 12:03, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
