Update SoFi section edit

Hi, May I suggest adding the following paragraph to the SoFi section, directly below the one sentence that is in that section.

In 2019, Noto closed a 20-year naming rights deal with the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers; the stadium was named SoFi Stadium and hosted Super Bowl LVI.[1] Noto initiated the firm’s IPO in June 2021,[2] trading at $8.65B.[3] Noto initiated SoFi’s purchase of Galileo Financial Services in 2020[4] and Technisys SA in 2022.[5]

Hi Spintendo. Thanks for implementing the first two sentences of the edit request. As for the last sentence, which you said you can't implement because I did not include Wikilinks to the two companies mentioned in that sentence, as of now, neither of those companies has its own English Wikipedia article. The event in question, that Noto "initiated SoFi's purchase of Galileo and Technisys" is still noteworthy however, and should be included in the article. There are two excellent sources covering these acquisitions, and I have added several sources to show that there was widespread coverage. Also please allow me to point out that "Notability guidelines do not apply to content within articles or lists". I am happy to discuss this further if you like. If you think red links here would be better than no links, here is the sentence again with Wikilinks and additional sources:
Noto initiated SoFi’s purchase of Galileo Financial Services in 2020[1][2][3] and Technisys SA in 2022.[4][5][6][7]

Blue links are not a requirement for something to be mentioned in articles. If there is coverage from reliable, secondary sources, and the information is noteworthy, the information can be included. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:13, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Rachelatsofi has asked me at Talk:SoFi to implement this edit, but I would like to hear what @Spintendo has to say first. What was your rationale for declining to implement #3 and #4? InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:35, 8 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
