Home Guard not controversial

I recall the attempt to organize a new home guard in the 1980's. I don't recall that it "aroused controversy" at all. It was ridiculed by left wing politicians and elements in the news media.Royalcourtier (talk) 05:37, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
