Is there any reference available to confirm "the almost constant southerly wind". Personally I find this "fact" hard to believe - some more detailed weather observations or weather summary would be useful, including temperature ranges observed at South Pole (for example), or a link to such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iceseismic (talk • contribs) 03:52, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
