Reverted table

edit

I've reverted the Annual Leave table to the version from 08:50, 12 March 2012 (diff), and removed four rows.

I realize that the table is potentially the most useful part of the article, and the part that will likely interest people the most, but in its current state (as of 01:07 29 June 2015) it is fatally flawed. The table was originally created on 08:50, 12 March 2012 by copying a table from the German article which in turn was taken from this source. However the copier also added some rows to the table here that were not in the original source, such as the unsourced and absurd value of "USA = 12", along with some other additions that did not appear in the original (Ireland, Switzerland, Japan), taking values from some unknown source. Those four countries that do not appear in the original source have been removed.

The English article needs a better source than that, and in particular, one must be extremely careful about adding new rows for other countries with information from other data sources. I would go so far as to say that every row and figure in the table should be from one source, or the data would be incommensurate; it's like comparing apples and oranges. I would like to see the table entirely replaced with a new version, with up-to-date values, from an unimpeachable source. Mathglot (talk) 08:16, 12 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Table colours

edit

What are the colours on the table? No key is given. How do yellow, green, and blue differ? 2A02:C7C:C47D:8700:25A9:639:D8EB:FC1F (talk) 21:12, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
