Thompson link edit
I removed the link tags around the name H.S. Thompson, as the link points to someone else by that name who was born over 70 years after the song was written. MccullarsJ 20:13, 21 December 2005 (UTC) (Original author of this article)
- I created an article for Thompson at H. S. Thompson as there were no inbound Hunter S. Thompson links at that location. I did include the latter reference in the article of course.-choster (talk) 00:33, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Mixed-up priorities edit
If the subject of this article were "School songs", then the prominent list of alma maters might be appropriately located as the second section of this article, before the lyrics to "Annie Lisle".
But instead, the subject of this article is "Annie Lisle", and so the inappropriate placement of the list of alma maters is entirely inappropriate. The lyrics to "Annie Lisle" should certainly be given priority here.50.205.142.50 (talk) 20:04, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
