editI think this article needs to be cutdown or all that needs to be merged together.--SkreeHunter 02:33, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

Citations Needed
editThis page does not have any citings at all, and the crediblity of many of those asserted facts are in question. Anonymous 1.12pm 19th April 2006 (UTC+10).
I agree with this. However, many of the pieces of information, such as the trivia for example, can be found in an official correspondence from Anneliese and magazine articles which are located at the Yahoo group. Other statements such as being suspended from school for a dress code violation definately need citation. -Shifty506101
How can Anneliese be a Naturalized United States Citizen if her mother (whom according to the article is from Brooklyn) is a U.S. Citizen? If this were the case, most likely, Anneliese was a born U.S. citizen and would therefore retain dual citizenship (U.S. because of her mother, and Dutch because of her Dutch father along with Netherlands being her birth country, although the deciding factor in her Dutch citizenship is the fact that her father has Dutch Citizenship.)
My father was born to an American father and Canadian mother. He was only granted Canadian citizenship. He can, however, apply for American dual citizenship, and most likely recieve it.
- If she was born to a Dutch father, in the Netherlands, would that not mean see was a Dutch-American Actress, not an American actress? Is the "American" reference to her nationality or the country in which she is an actress? 03vaseyj 22:36, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Live or Die?
editWhen and where was this released? Because the only "Live or Die" I found was a 2003 South Korean movie apparently about organized crime. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349663/

DUI arrest
editI'm restoring the description of her DUI arrest. It's certainly germane to maintaining a neutral point-of-view (NPOV); this is an encyclopedia, not a marketing site. It's not libelous, as there are many notable references on the Web to the arrest, her blood alcohol level, and plea of no contest. - Johnlogic (talk) 18:11, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

- Overall:
- Pass or Fail:
- Pass or Fail:
- The intro should summarise the whole article, it should ideally be between 2 and 3 paragraphs.
- Van der Pol's mother named her after Anne Frank after visiting the house where Frank hid, is poor grammer
- Van der Pol's family moved to her mother's native United States when she was three years old, and she retains dual citizenship between the Netherlands and the United States. is unsourced
- At the age of fifteen, she is also the youngest actresses in Theatrical History to play the role in a professional production does not seem to be in the source previous
- Van der Pol subsequently starred as "Laurey" in an Austin, Texas, musical theatre production of Oklahoma! from 2000 to 2001. Her performance earned her both an Austin Critics Table Award nomination for "Best Actress in a Musical" and an B. Iden Payne Nomination for "Best Featured Actress in a Musical". She was later cast as Chelsea Daniels, the best friend of the title character on the Disney Channel's That's So Raven, a role she played from 2002 to 2007. Just as the first season of "That's So Raven" began, she went back to Austin Musical Theatre to perform in "Celebrate: AMT," a performance highlighting all the shows the company had done up to then. She was a featured soloist. Van der Pol also appeared on the Disney Channel Games as a member of the Red Team; her teammates were Zac Efron, Kay Panabaker, Dylan Sprouse, Shin Koyamada, and Moises Arias. She was originally offered the role of Kim Possible but chose not to take the part. Anneliese also had a supporting role in Bratz: The Movie as Avery, a mean popular girl and best-friend to the main antagonist. does not have any sources
- Van der Pol is one of only three cast members of That's So Raven (along with T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh and Rondell Sheridan) not to star in a Disney Channel Original Movie, although she is the only cast member to star in a Walt Disney Theatrical Production. unsourced
- those are just some examples throughout the article where information is poorly sourced with inline citations
- none of the awards in the filmography are sourced
- sources follow different layouts. Some do not provide dates or publisher information at all.
- what makes youtube, Sh-k-boom.com, allheadlinenews.com, imageshack and break.com reliable
- source 20 is broken
- looks like there is some form of unresolved edit dispute recently. The neutrality of the inclusion regarding he DUI conviction has been questioned in the last few months
- The article requires quite a bit of cleaning to meet GA and don’t think it will be achieved in the next 7 days. Many refs can be deemed unreliable and the article is poorly sourced overall. Therefore i am failing the article for GA

she looks like ~50-60 years old there :O can't we find a better pic? 83.109.223.240 (talk) 18:02, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- Sure. All we need is for you or someone else to release one under a CC-BY-SA 3.0 license. Now go take the photos and upload them for us! Thanks! Elizium23 (talk) 18:06, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
Nationality context in intro sentence
editPer MOS:CONTEXTBIO what goes there is where notable activities occurred. She has lived in the US since age 3 and has done nothing in the Netherlands as a notable actress or singer. Her birth location and dual nationality are covered in article but are basically irrelevant to why she is notable. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:21, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- There is nothing in the MOS that says her dual citizenship should not be mentioned. I do not see your rationale as valid; nobody has to "do something" in their country of citizenship to retain citizenship there, so why would her lack of activity reduce our motivation for mentioning it? Elizium23 (talk) 06:56, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
Ouch!!!
editI know WP:NOTFORUM applies, but may I just volunteer that that is a HORRIBLE photo of this most lovely woman. Her makeup is gaudy, her clothing is over the top, and her accessories are unfortunate. I am not sure if she was trying to gross us out with the video, but my theory is that van der Pol has a lot of stage experience as an actress, and so she applied stage makeup, which looks as horrible as this in video close-ups. In any case, we will need to replace this photo with a more flattering one as soon as humanly possible, or I may need to de-watchlist. Elizium23 (talk) 03:05, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Really? Looks like no response required. Jmg38 (talk) 17:56, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
