the word "stateless"

edit

I read thoroughly the article for the word "stateless" and by its definition, Anne Frank didn't become stateless. she was Jewish, her mother was jewish - that is how Jewish citizenship is passed - Jus sanguinis from a mother. Alaska0909 (talk) 21:50, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Pls review ...."How citizenship eluded Anne Frank?". Citizenship by Investment Journal. 2019-11-22. Moxy🍁 22:36, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Dutch and German - yes, they did, but NOT Israel. By the law of the country if your mother is Jewish - you are Jewish and are eligible for Israel citizenship. The fact that she didn't apply doesn't change it.
Stateless means there is no state, and no proof of citizenship. She just didn't have the papers. Which doesn't make her stateless. Just having administrative difficulties. Pls. review https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statelessness
Did she have a birth certificate with her mother in it? Alaska0909 (talk) 17:54, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
At that time, Jewish citizenship did not exist. Dead people do not get an extra citizenship of a country. tgeorgescu (talk) 03:14, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
