Author? edit

In the Infobox, it states that she's an author. The only thing she ever got published (as far as the article goes) is essentially a blog posting and a ghost written one at that. It's hardly grounds for her being an author. Removing statement. -- Henriok (talk) 10:43, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I wasn't thorough enough. She has released a book apparently.. I actually saw in while christmas shopping too. Scary coincidence. -- Henriok (talk) 21:02, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Polish edit

Anna Anka is of Polish descent. She was born in Poland to Polish parents. At the age of 3 she was adopted by a Swedish-Polish couple living in Sweden. She immigrated to the USA at the age of 23. She has no contact with her adoptive parents in Sweden. According to one of the references (Aftonbladet: Anka bryter med Sverige.) she has renounced her Swedish citizenship because she is not comfortable with the Swedish mindset. 83.248.180.167 (talk) 09:32, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

She is still quite much Swedish despite her well-publicized renounciation of her Swedish citizenhip (of which I would like to see some more proof than just that tabloid story). Her mother tongue is obviously Swedish and she refers to herself as a Swede in many situations. She spent most of her life before the age of 22 in Sweden. So, I would classify her as Swedish-American of Polish descent, rather than Polish-American with no reference to her strong Swedish connection. --Aatox (talk) 08:45, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

What exactly would be the swedish mindset? I am sorry to say it, but Anka is your stereotypical stupid blonde woman that all those blonde jokes are all about. US can keep that bimbo. Once a duck, always a duck. Norum 05:44, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
