Desert Magazine edit
Desert Magazine June 1949 issue pages 17-19 has an article "Cowgirl of Brown's Hole" by Charles Kelly about Ann Bassett. Kelly claims to have met her in 1943, and in the article states she was born in 1875 (not 1878,) and on page 18 - "Butch Cassidy avoided entanglements with women. While Ann knew him well, she never liked him." Either she had sour grapes over the affair she allegedly carried on with him in this Wikipedia entry, or she never had an affair with him to start with. There is a photograph of Ann Bassett (presumably circa 1943 - when she would have been about 68 years old) on page 17. Rlansdowne (talk) 02:34, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
