Some of the exhibits are undergoing remodeling, so i just put on what I was sure that was there. Lankrist (talk) 13:53, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Educating Children

edit

I think this article is really well-written and gets at a lot of the important aspects of the Hands-On Museum. One thing I would add is a short paragraph about how the Hands-On Museum is used to educate kids and why it is effective. I think this is mentioned very briefly under some of the specific exhibits but it might help to have another separate paragraph. From what I understand, many of the visitors are classes on field trips to get kids interested in science and math. Overall, great job! EmGardiner (talk) 16:43, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Feedback: This stub article is very well written. I think it does a great job explaining the purpose and features of the Hands-On Museum as well as the crowd it appeals to. The history section is great and discusses everything one would need to know about the museum, however the first few sentences of the last paragraph within the section could be stated under another section that applies to the museum's current status. The article's section on the outreach programs is also very good, but I think that another section should explain the significance of the museum and outreach programs. There is also a substantial amount of references, so the sources must be credible. I would say it was a job very well done! Ashalem (talk) 19:18, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Feedback Paragraph: This group did a great job on their Wikipedia article, regarding the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum, and helped enhance the topic through their edits. One sub-section in the article that contained a lot of beneficial information was the museum exhibits because the information helps the reader understand the type of activities that the museum provides. In addition, this group did a good job with giving history about the museum and utilized credible sources. Moreover, the use of hyper links and a picture of the facility are valuable writing editions. One piece of advice I have for this group to further enhance the article is to create a larger lead section. Creating a bigger beginning summary would give the reader an outline of the vital material about the museum. In addition, the section on outreach programs could be a little bit longer and include a list of establishments who use the programs. Overall, nice work! 98.250.13.51 (talk) 03:40, 29 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Feedback: This article is overall well done. It is detailed and explains information about many different aspects of the museum and gives the reader a complete picture of the museum and what it offers. The sections describing history and exhibits, for example, offer some great information accumulated from multiple sources. The main problem I have with the article is that some of the sentences are unclear and could benefit from more explanation. For example, the sentence "The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, specializes in interactive exhibits with the goal of helping both children and adults discover the scientist within them by promoting science literacy through experimentation, exploration, and education.[1]" is a bit too wordy and slightly confusing, especially for the first sentence in the article. The wording "discover the scientist within them" also seems to be a bit subjective, taking away from the objectivity of the article. Also, the outreach programs section could have benefited from more explanation. Ccgearig (talk) 11:48, 29 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
