The photo of Bryant is more than fifty years out of date, and it's not even color, which seems kind of ridiculous. Is there a reason for using an archaic photo? TricksterWolf (talk) 20:50, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I attempted to find a new photo. Most recent on Getty was in the 90's and those aren't available for use on Wikipedia. Her ministry website hasn't been updated since 2006. Knowitahl (talk) 22:52, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ministries

edit

At this moment the section entitled Ministries seems to have nothing to do with any ministries/religious activities. Should it be retitled? Jbsegal (talk) 15:47, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Good catch. I've changed it to 'other activities.' Bkatcher (talk) 17:19, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

She has 4 children, not 2. I updated the page, but my edit was overwritten to the previous incorrect value. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IronJohnSr (talkcontribs) 04:45, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, IronJohnSr. You need to provide a reference to a reliable source for the changes that you want to make. Otherwise, how can a reader verify the accuracy of your statement? Cullen328 (talk) 04:50, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello Cullen328
The article itself says she has 4 children.
Nowhere in the article do I see a reference to a reliable source that says she has 2 children. IronJohnSr (talk) 05:24, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Miami Herald reference, currently #8, verifies that she adopted a child with her husband and that they then had three other children. I have restored 4 to the infobox. Cullen328 (talk) 05:34, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Years Active—has Bryant retired?

edit

It seems pretty clear that Bryant has retired—or at least has quit singing. I think we need to settle on a final year of activity, though. The most recent evidence of her performing seems to be from a 2016 article about a Christmas Party hosted by OK Governor Mary Fallin. There are numerous little tidbits of her social life in Oklahoma City newspapers, the latest being from 2019. Additionally, her final public interview seems to be this one, which was taped in April of 2011. Furthermore, as other users have pointed out, she hasn’t updated her ministry website since roughly 2006. If nothing else, we should probably note that she hasn’t released any records since 1985. Overall though, I’d love to hear some thoughts on this so we can settle this. Dancingtudorqueen (talk) 15:15, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
