Have the years of Aniello Falcone's life 1607-1656 been confirmed? The original Encyclopædia Britannica article said 1600-1665, and they're usually accurate. Lorem Ipsum, Sept. 6, 2004 22:12 GMT

As far as I can tell, the date change by 138.89.92.207 is inaccurate. (The article text refers to an 1665 death anyway.) I'm changing it back and hoping it stays that way, unless someone can cite a source. Lorem Ipsum, April 20, 2005, 09:25 GMT
Almost all modern sources have 1656 for his death, including the Oxford Dictionary of Art and this catalogue from the Metropolitan Museum. The date 1665 is however in many 19th century books. There seems to be less agreement on the birth date. Ruskinmonkey (talk) 00:59, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
