I've added a few project categories in hope of attracting reviewers for this draft article. Grateful for any suggestions @DrThneed and StuartYeates: perhaps I can interest you? The article needs quite a bit more work. E.g. "The Military Cross was awarded in 194x, for reason"! The "Military Service" section is extremely poor. Also, does not comply with Manual of Style. Normally I plunge in to polish up draft articles, but this requires quite a lot more than polishing. Don't be discouraged, Somej, be encouraged to put some more effort in. Cheers. He's a good subject for an article, @Somej. It does need more work, which I don't have time to help with at the moment (working on new MP bios for obvious reasons). But I think with a bit more work you can get there. As a general suggestion, I find it helpful to write the body of the article first, and then only come back to the lead section at the end. The lead section is a summary of the information in the rest of the article and should contain nothing that isn't mentioned further down (and for that reason doesn't need sources). The Manual of Style @Nurg is great to look at, but you can also have a look at some other bios for pointers on how to handle things (look for articles rated good, see this list. I don't refer to it because you are aiming to produce that standard of article, but because they've been gone over with a fine-tooth comb so are good models in how to lay out the information).
