AdrianPowell (talk) 13:48, 8 October 2012 (UTC) The source "The lives of the lord chancellors and keepers of the great seal of England, Baron John Campbell, 1851" does not say Angmendus was the first Lord Chancellor of England. That is hardly surprising as England did not exist as a national entity for nearly another 300 years. It merely says he was the Chancellor of Kent.
- I also thought it didn't make sense, so I've boldly (i.e. without having access to the source) changed it to say was chancellor of Kent (but still possibly the first Lord Chancellor). Hairy Dude (talk) 19:21, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
