The Alan Parsons Project keyboardist?
editAndrew Powell redirects here, are they the same person? - G3, 18:33, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
No. Andy Powell is always credited Andy, never Andrew. --80.43.141.23 06:59, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
What about Andy Powell, The Welsh Ruby player who won his 1st cap yesterday? - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Powell_(rugby_player) - I found the page on Google, but if one searches for 'Andy Powell' on Wikipedia, the page of the Guitarist will appear without a reference or a link to the page of the rugby player. If one searches in Wikipedia for 'Andy Powell rugby' there are NO matches! Why is this? Shouldn't the 'Andy Powell' page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Powell - simply have links to the pages of Andrew Powell, Andy Powell (Rugby) and Andy Powell (Guitarist)? OIf so, a new page needs to be created for the guitarist, maybe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Powell_(guitarist) ? - Hedd, 9 Nov 10.21am GMT —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.77.80 (talk) 10:22, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- There is a disambiguation link at the top of the article page, and there has been since 9 March 2007. This will suffice in terms of naming and disambiguation convensions. Booglamay (talk) - 00:59, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Rewrite
editI rewrote the article this evening, I didn't realise how much was a copy-and-paste job from the Wishbone Ash website. Comments and improvements welcome. Booglamay (talk) - 00:59, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Opinion, not fact
editThe "Wishbone Ash" section ends "Martin however was the lead songwriter and continues to be the power behind this amazing group." That final phrase is opinion (not that I question the opinion) but I'm not sure that just deleting "amazing" is an adequate revision. Photastro (talk) 14:10, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
