Possible additional sources

edit

These came from the 23:36, 13 November 2011 edit of an older Articles for creation submission whose page history has been merged into this article's page history. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 14:59, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Citation style

edit

Please use in-line references where practical, especially since this is a biography of a living person.

If huge amounts of information come from a single source and it's clear from the name of the source what information is likely to come from that source (e.g. a source named "Andy Grundy - Career stats" would presumably include all the top-league teams he has played for and all of the stats in those games), then it is okay to use that as a non-inline source, listed below the references as bulleted list. Please clean up the bare links by using templates just as you would for an in-line citation, but without the <ref><nowiki> and <nowiki></ref> tags surrounding them. Example:

* {{cite web|url=http://blah.blah.blah|title=Title goes here|last=Author's last name|first=Author's first name|date=Date, if available|accessdate=Access date, if available}}

produces

  • Author's last name, Author's first name (Date, if available). "Title goes here". Retrieved Access date, if available. {{cite web}}: |last= has generic name (help); Check date values in: |accessdate= and |date= (help)

There are 3 non-inline sources. Are these sources "global" and non-redundant to the inline sources? If so, please format them as described above. If they are redundant, eliminate them. If they are not truly sources at all, remove them. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 19:25, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
