keep removed? edit

Below was removed in a series of deletions/change, and I don't know if that was appropriate.

In 2018, a number of media portals reported about “special personal relationship”, which, at least since 2014, have connected Kostin with the journalist Nailya Asker-Zade. In November of 2018, the Arbitration Court of city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region deemed this informationto be untrue and defamatory to business reputation [1]. The same decision prohibited the dissemination of this information in the territory of the Russian Federation. In 2019, newspapers such as Vedomosti and Kommersant, Forbes magazine and Radio Liberty reported that about 1.000 digital publications about Kostin were blocked by Roskomnadzor ...

  • WP:PUBLICFIGURE states: "A politician is alleged to have had an affair. It is denied, but multiple major newspapers publish the allegations, and there is a public scandal. The allegation belongs in the biography, citing those sources. However, it should state only that the politician was alleged to have had the affair, not that the affair actually occurred." Indeed, the affair, the court decision and the censorship all should be presented in the article. Ain92 (talk) 19:17, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • There are paid editors who work on everything related to Andrey Kostin. After the publication of the investigation into the intimate relations of Andrey Kostin and Nailya Asker-Zade, paid editors began to actively edit the article about Kostin on the Russian Wikipedia. Some of them were blocked by the decision of the Arbitration Committee of Russian Wikipedia.
31 December 2019: the article here was protected for 3 months due to persistent sock-puppetry: diff
18 February 2021: A confirmed sockpuppet removed all critical information from this article: diff. Unfortunately, Kostin's lawyers removed everything critical about him from the Internet, so the whole paid editing situation went under the radar. --Renat 23:31, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Andrey_Kostin&diff=prev&oldid=1007495158 — edit from a single purpose account, of sockmaster — presents the situation as convenient for Kostin, blurring the essence of the accusations - I am reverting it now. Main authors of the article Lanaray - seems VTB and Kostin as theirs main focus. Hauptgott + Deripaska ‎and some airports. ·Carn·!? 16:17, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ethnic Jew??? edit

Ethnic Jew??? Kostin or Costin (depend on the graphics) is a typical and quite common family name from Central Romania. While 99% of Kostin (or Costin) people are ethnic Romanians, in some rare cases, the name bearers can be Russians, Jews or from other ethnic groups. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.2.192.213 (talk) 06:04, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
