Bacevich himself claims inaccuracies
I don't know what's inaccurate about this article, but Bacevich himself has complained of inaccuracies in the article. He said this during a lecture to one of his classes at BU in November 2006. He did not specify what the inaccuracies were, but implied that they were fact-based and not merely opinion he disagrees with. - I did a quick scan of the facts in the article and the external sources. The only thing I found that was off was a PhD in American Diplomatic History from Princeton (according to the BU site) that was stated simply as "diplomatic history" in the article. The rest can be verified from Conversations with Andrew Bacevich. // Montag 00:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Ancestry
His name, how it's spelled, and his religion seem to indicate that he's a Croatian American, but I'm not willing to write anything till I have confirmation.

Bacevic or Bacevich familyname originates from southern Croatia, the coastal area's of the Adriatic, province of Dalmatia boundering with Montenegro. This + the fact that he's Catholic is a proof of the Croatian origins of his familyname. The argument as if the familyname is coming from Montenegro is also possible because the area arround Boka and Tivat in Montenegro had historically a high percentage of Croatians (Catholics) in difference with the Montenegrens or serbs who are eastern-christians or orthodox as they call that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.20.106.201 (talk) 02:08, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
