It should be noted that there was another Andreas Hofer, a 17th century composer. There needs to be an article on the musician Hofer. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Baroquesmguy (talkcontribs) 2150, 20 May 2006 (UTC).

Whole this article says Raffl died in poverty 20 years after betraying Hofer, I have read elsewhere that he was lynched by Raffl's friends. Perhaos the German language wiki has a definitive answer?24.168.96.176 (talk) 20:47, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Occupation of Innsbruck after action at Sterzing

edit

I wonder if the following is correct (or needs clarification). "On 11 April Tyrolean militia defeated a Bavarian force in Sterzing which led to the occupation of Innsbruck before noon." Sterzing is about 11 hours walk from Innsbruck, so it's difficult to see how Hofer's forces could have achieved this. Or does the statement mean someone else occupied Innsbruck. If so, perhaps rephrase? 2003:CF:70E:D9B5:E9BC:8F67:4CD1:7E46 (talk) 15:00, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
