$100 or $300?
editConsulting first editions, the last two edits to this article have brought another of Rex Stout's famous inconsistencies to light. In the FE printing of "Murder Is No Joke," Flora Gallant reaches into her bag and pulls out $100. In the first part of "Frame-Up for Murder," the expanded rewrite of the story published four months later in The Saturday Evening Post, Flora Gallant gives Wolfe $300. And she's a lot better looking. — WFinch (talk) 20:20, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
