Move

edit

The article should be moved to Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, yes? Punkmorten (talk) 08:42, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't think so. Anatoliy Tymoschuk is the most way that his name is used in English media. Also, his last name is spelled "Tymoschuk" on his jersey. --Boguslav (talk) 18:22, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exactly, I've changed it back to "Tymoschuk." That's the name in Zenit's site as well. Vasu619 (talk) 14:00, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

UEFA & FC Bayern use "Anatoliy Tymoshchuk" which is also on his jersey. How Zenith spelled his name in 2008 must be irrelevant now. — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 09:28, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Number 44

edit

Tymoschuk plays with squad #44 now (Bayern) and with Zenith, did he also play with #44 at Volyn Lutsk & Shakhtar Donetsk?

Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 08:57, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm pretty sure that he was number 4 in Shakhtar Donetsk.--BoguslavM 20:02, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tymo on facebook?

edit

Is this his facebook page? Or is somebody pretending to be him answering Tymo-fan remarks? If so this could be a external link. — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 22:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA failure --> There where no suggestions below for improving the article....

edit

It would be nice if the above claimed suggestions for improving the article would start to appear here... — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 13:59, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

From my talkpage
"The main reason this article failed was that there was a template that stated that the intorduction was too short. This is part of Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles and the first things to look for. Because of the cleanup banner listed, this article was quick-failed. Chris (talk) 14:09, 24 June 2010 (UTC)"Reply
Hope this clear things up! — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 14:18, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

That is still inexcusable for not reviewing and writing an explaination on why it isn't good enough. Is what he is saying is that is the only thing wrong with it? Kingjeff (talk) 21:36, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speculations about the reasons Zenit signed him again.

edit

There are a lot of speculations that Zenit signed Tymoshchuk again not only because his footballing abilities. As "Wikipedia considers the enduring notability of persons and events" (see WP:NOTNEWS) this sounds like stuff you can read in sports magazines but which is not suitable for an encyclopedia. Just because something is mentioned in some articles, this does not make it noteworthy. --Jaellee (talk) 19:18, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Totally don't agree. Those stuff are said by important people in Russian football and top journalists, those are not speculation. It's important to show what he means for Zenit. It's not just "rumours in the dressing room", since he left Zenit players openly bashed each other about salaries and things like that. 2.222.214.148 (talk) 22:11, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
