Redirect?

Maybe we should redirect this page to the List of Desperate Housewives characters again because there is no certainty that the character will be notable enough to deserve her own page. While she is bound to have a very large role in season six, if characters like Danielle, Betty, Karl or the Scavo kids don't have pages than neither should Ana. -- Renaboss (talk) 06:58, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

So far, she isn't really notable. At least, she's no more notable that Danielle or Dylan, and they don't have their own articles. We should probably wait a few more episodes before determining if she deserves her own page.Akcvtt (talk) 02:41, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

I agree that Ana does not need her own page. Just because the actress gets the "starring" credit, doesn't automatically mean the character needs her own page. If so, then why were Betty Applewhite, Karl Mayer, Rex Van de Kamp, John Rowland, Zach Young, Paul Young, all merged? Certainly any of those characters who were previously listed as starring, are more in need of a seperate article than Ana? Firestorm566 (talk) 19:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Merge Discussion

I have just tagged this article with the proposal for it to be merged with Acquaintances of Gabrielle Solis. As discussed above, I think it's pretty clear that most people would agree with this. But I wanted to first discuss it before any actions are taken. Halfway into the sixth season of the series, Ana Solis has proven to be a character with limited notability. She has been absent for over half the number of episodes that have aired since her introduction. She is less notable than other characters who do not have their own pages. So little is known about the character and she does not merit her own page.Akcvtt (talk) 06:27, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
