Shape or size of the loop

edit

Could clarify that the size of the loop has no effect, and if the shape affects the magnetic field strength ? - Rod57 (talk) 15:46, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Capitalisation of the abbreviation

edit

Over the lifetime of this article the capitalisation of the abbreviation has been changed at least three times, from "AT to "At", back to "AT" and then back to "At" again, without any citation or other justification on any occasion. What is the correct abbreviation? Can anyone give a definitive answer with references? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.227.118 (talk) 09:24, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I suppose that as the MKS standard was apparently more de facto than formal, it seems likely that there is no formal definition and the best we can do is report common or customary usage, which these days seems likely to be driven by Wikipedia itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.227.118 (talk) 09:58, 21 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
