Gheg edit

I removed a part of the reference by Georgoulas who claims that in Spllanca/Ammoudia the locals spoke a "corrupted variant of Gheg" with many elements from other languages which made it unintelligible to other Gheg and Albanian variants. The source doesn't come from an academic background and this leads him in the erroneous classification of the local dialect as Gheg and the other comments about its intelligibility.Alltan (talk) 18:33, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Problematic sources as such this one better to be removed than to be used selectively.Alexikoua (talk) 01:52, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
A source that says it was spoken in the 1960s is not going to cut it as far as the name in the lede. The 1960s were a long time ago. I wonder how the Greek name of an Albanian town would fare if all there was was a source that said Greek was spoken there in 1960s. Khirurg (talk) 21:49, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
