Correcting Statistics edit

A few issues were corrected: 1) In his Esteghlal first term (2003-2006), the correct GA is 92. 2) The statistics of his term at Mes Kerman are now added. The statistics at Iran National team are separated from the club statistics. 3) The statistics of Sepahan's 10 games in Hazfi Cup and AFC Champions League in 2010-11 were not included. I added them. 4) For Tractor Sazi, they lost one game in penalty shootout in Hazfi Cup. That should be counted as a draw in the statistics. Soroush a8 (talk) 02:36, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Good Job edit

Dear Tabarez, Great work on extending this article and translating material from Farsi sources. I made some edits and extended some sections. Let me know if you disagree with any changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soroush a8 (talkcontribs) 07:01, 22 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your welcome. Thanks! Tabarez (talk) 07:41, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Al Sadd edit

He talks about his first derby (Feb 1989):

http://www.khabaronline.ir/detail/272857/sport/premiere-league

Thus he probably didn't play in semi-finals of Asian Club Championship 1988-89 either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soroush a8 (talkcontribs) 09:09, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect edits edit

Tabarez, why are you dropping/changing correct statistics and information about his former clubs? If you are unsure about something, we can talk and figure out his correct past clubs and statistics in different tournaments. In recent edits you changed several correct data and replaced them with inaccurate guesses.

You're welcome to extend the article and elaborate on his performance in different cups (league, hazfi, Asian cups). I'm not against breaking his performance data, but you cannot do that based on guesses. If you don't know something, ask me and I can help. Soroush a8 (talk) 08:08, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Tabarez, your recent edits on Amir Ghalenoei page are getting similar to disruptive editing. This is almost 7th time that I'm requesting you - either here, or in your TALK page, or in the edit HISTORY of this page - to discuss differences in the articles TALK page instead of repeating your incorrect edits, but you never bothered to respond. There are numerous mistakes in your recent edits about clubs he coached, his statistics in the Hazfi cup, etc. I assume that you are editing with goodwill and just don't know the correct information and thus fill the gaps with wrong guesses. However if you keep on doing this, your behaviors will be reported as vandalism or disruptive editing and you will be banned from editing wikipedia.

If you cannot discuss the matters in English, then you should not edit English Wikipedia. Just edit Farsi Wikipedia. If you want to edit English Wikipedia, you must follow wiki policies and discuss differences in the TALK page before repeating what you've already done and others disagreed. For your information, most of Ghalenoei's Persian wiki article is written by me, but you are extracting information from there in a wrong way.

Next time you repeat your edits in Ghalenoei's infobox or club statistics, I will report your behavior. Make sure you read wiki policies to avoid getting banned. Thank you. Soroush a8 (talk) 04:14, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Championships and Runner-ups edit

Tabarez, it's not correct to put runner-ups and championships in the same LINE. That's confusing for the reader and you cannot find that format in Mourinho's pages or any other major coach. In Mourinho's page only championships are noted, not the runner-ups; so your comparison is irrelevant. Manuel Jose's page was relevant because runner-ups are noted in his page. Soroush a8 (talk) 16:56, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

OK, I remove runner-ups but this style is better not your style which is very old. don't change again please. Tabarez (talk) 17:35, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
There is no such thing as "very old style". Please refer me to wikipedia guidelines if you have any proof. A format that CLEARLY shows BOTH championships and runner-ups is better than a format that is incomplete (only championships) or a format that is confusing (mixing championships and runner-ups). Soroush a8 (talk) 17:54, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
You can continue your edits (I see that's what you're doing now), but your changes will be reserved if instead of responding to my comments here you keep on making changes that are the controversial between us.
Also see Mario Zagallo's page. Soroush a8 (talk) 18:04, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok! I add runner-ups but please see other coaches article. Ghalenoei is a big coach and must have a better page not it. we can do it together not with fight!!!! Tabarez (talk) 07:23, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Tabarez (talk) 07:38, 7 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok. For now because you've referred to a valid source to support your point, I hold on and won't change your last edit. My goal is just to improve the page and I don't like to keep on unnecessary arguments.
However please note that: 1) In future, when you have a disagreement or controversy with another active user, do not repeat your edits before discussing them in the TALK page. Use that page until the disagreement is resolved. Also please try to refer others to wikipedia policies and guidelines to support your points. 2) If you're editing English wikipedia, you must be comfortable to engage in discussions in English. If your English is not good enough, you shouldn't edit English Wikipedia. Just focus on editing wikipedia in Farsi and other languages that you're fluent in. Thanks for your contrubutions, and good luck with your future edits. Soroush a8 (talk) 07:12, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
