Faisal Gill edit

Would it be appropriate to include links to former officers and persons who were associated with the AMC on this page, such as Faisal Gill? Gletiecq 21:24, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, it would not be appropriate ... having been a "spokesman" for an organization is hardly worth of reference. —141.156.216.67 (talk · contribs) 22:24, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

I see that there's an edit war going on at this page, but there does not appear to be any related discussion going on at the talkpage. Please, as soon as reverts start, please try to explain what's going on at the talkpage, don't just battle it out in edit summaries. Thanks, --Elonka 20:20, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

It appears that Taz Manchester (talk · contribs) is attempting to censor the article by removing cited references without comment ... I'm not sure of their agenda, but I agree with Matt57 (talk · contribs), and I have restored the pre-censored version, as I did on a previous occasion ... Happy Editing! — 72.75.110.31 (talk · contribs) 23:21, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

American Muslim Council reverts edit

Hello, fellow editors ... I am concerned about the lack of discussion between Taz Manchester (talk · contribs) and Matt57 (talk · contribs) regarding recent edits to American Muslim Council (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) ... I happen to agree with Matt57 ... can we please discuss here on this talk page?

As I previously commented, User:Taz Manchester appears to be pushing a point of view by deleting cited references ... User:Matt57 and I have been reverting the deletions ... can we please reach a consensus on this? Happy Editing! — 72.75.110.31 (talk · contribs) 20:23, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

BTW, I feel that this is a WP:NOTCENSORED issue. I have neither an agenda, a POV, nor more than an editorial interest in the subject; verifiable encyclopedic material is being removed by one editor without comment, and two other editors (myself included) keep restoring it. — 72.75.110.31 (talk) 00:19, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks 72 for initiating this, I will wait for Taz to explain here why he's removing the stuff. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 05:19, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, it looks like Taz Manchester has been MIA since 2008-11-30T15:25:13 ... let's just leave it in our Watchlists for a while. :-) — 72.75.110.31 (talk) 21:52, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

72: I got your message, I am available for moderation if you require my assistance in that department.--Yachtsman1 (talk) 03:35, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thnx, but it looks like User:Taz Manchester has given up and Moved On, unless maybe they're still on holiday? — 72.75.110.31 (talk) 03:47, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Okay. I have gotten a message from Taz on my page. I have looked through the history of this article, and there does appear to be some edit warring going on. I would ask at this point why references are being deleted, and what objective is being served by doing so? That may be a good point to start with.--Yachtsman1 (talk) 09:27, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see from Taz Manchester's contributions that they are an infrequent user, with a focused area of interest ... their edit summaries mention dialog with Matt57, but I've yet to see much of any. — 72.75.110.31 (talk) 01:14, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
