Druid? edit
What is the basis for calling Amergin a druid? Is there a citation? He certainly took the role of a fáith or prophetic poet, but is he ever described as a druí in any old text? ⚜ Moilleadóir ✍ 04:54, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right. Myself and Doug Weller looked into this back in 2013 and found no evidence he was ever referred to as a druid, but it was reinserted by an anonymous editor, with no edit summary, in 2018. I've just been through the cited sources, and can't find any reference to him being a druid, so I've removed it again. --Nicknack009 (talk) 07:29, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
