Coordinate error edit

{{geodata-check}} The coordinates are off by some 40km. The precision guidelines would seem to suggest a precision down to below 200m for a town less than 4km² in size, so 43°9′20″S 172°43′50″E seems about right to me. Anybody want to check my working and/or tell me how to edit the coordinates? (Do you just change them in the article, or is there some magic handshake to know when fixing geodata?) -- Perey (talk) 05:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

That lat/long looks good to me. In this case, you can simply edit the {{coord}} template near the bottom of the article. Give it a try and let me know if you run into any snags. --Stepheng3 (talk) 06:03, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! Since the coordinates were no longer sourced from nl Wikipedia, I deleted the "_source:nlwiki" part; hope that's correct. -- Perey (talk) 18:11, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
